The rEvo has 3 sizes to choose from. You can also choose to have them built in stainless steel or titanium, which are lighter and have higher resistance to rust.
Standard is the biggest size at 63cm height and 38cm width. It comes in stainless steel and weighs 18kg (with a titanium version that is 15.7kg), with 7-liter lung volume. This size may not be convenient for smaller people.
Mini is 58cm in height and 38cm in width. It comes in stainless steel and weighs 17.7kg (with the titanium version weighing 15.5kg), with 6.5-liter lung volume.
Micro is 54cm in height 36cm in width. This version only comes in titanium and weighs 14.7kg. The size meets cabin luggage requirements and is perfect for travel. The CE lung volume is 5 liters.
The hybrid rEvo rebreather version will have an automatic diluent valve, solenoid, Oxygen orifice, and front mounted manual gas addition block. It can be run as an ECCR, MCCR or a mix of both. The solenoid will be controlled by the Shearwater electronics. You can choose from
1. Petrel PO2 controller with integrated multi-gas decompression software and Digican technology
2. Petrel Dive can PO2 controller RMS; the RMS controller has all the features of Petrel controller, plus the scrubber monitoring system. Different than any other rebreather, it uses a superior, patent and exclusive technology, and was developed and tested extensively using the ANSTI testing device. The RMS will predict and adjust the scrubber duration based on your current workload, depth and temperature.
3. NERD PO2 controller: The Near Eye Remote Display is the first technical dive computer with a display mounted on the diver’s rebreather mouthpiece. This revolutionary device keeps crucial information in your line-of-sight for the entire dive. It has all the features of the Petrel PO2 controller.

The manually controlled version of the rEvo comes with front mounted manual gas addition block to add O2, diluent and off board gas connection. It also has an automatic diluent valve and an orifice in the exhale lung, which will add a continuous and constant flow of O2. (An absolute pressure first stage regulator is used for oxygen so that the flow does not increase with depth.)
For primary P02 monitoring, you can choose between 4 electronics for PO2 monitoring:
You can add up to 2 PO2 electronic monitoring systems; the most popular is to have 2 revodreams with 1 oxygen cell each.
Revodream P is a PO2 monitoring electronic with a Head Up Display (HUD). Reliable, and easy to use, it can be connected to one or two cells. The HUD has three LEDs (orange, green and red) to indicate the PPO2 value. When you have the correct PPO2 (Partial Pressure of Oxygen), the HUD flashes continuous green: green means “OK, safe.” Small deviations over or under will result in a pulse of orange (low PO2) or red (high PO2), together with the constant green LED. When deviation is dangerous, the green will disappear and only red or orange pulses will remain.
The revodream P5 have a 5-year battery life replaced by factory or rEvo technician, and comes with digital cabling. Wet matable 4-pin connector near the sensors allows the removal of the sensor tray from the rebreather; brighter orange and red LED light: if things go wrong, it shows up clearly and all the features of the rEvodream P.
Shearwater Petrel hardwired, linked to 3 cells and will also calculate your decompression obligations. It has all the features of a petrel.
